Dream Valley

Love Melody The world swishes by in a dazzle of emerald light, and suddenly you discover that you are staring straight at Dream Castle. You recall the 'Hasbro' playset which represented this castle; although the toy was laudable, the real thing is . . . exquisite! The glazed blue ceramic tiles protect the massive towers of rosy marble while ponies happily frolic in front of the moat. Once in a while a pegasus glides around a balcony or rests on the roof. Ivy swathes the northern side of the castle while lush wild daylilies, iris, and buttercups nestle at the base of the building. Drinking in the sight, you can easily imagine why the Hasbro employees chose this valley to represent Ponyland.

You take a quick glance to see if anyone noticed your sudden arrival. Most of the ponies continue to gallop and play, unaware of your presence under the shady oak tree . . . but one little pink haired earthling is gazing at you with fascination. After a moment, she gets to her hooves and wades toward you through the tall, soft meadowgrass.

"I'm Love Melody," she says sweet, shy voice. "Who are you?"

As you introduce yourself, you eye the pink hearts intertwined with white ribbons on Love Melody's flanks.
